Does Ron Paul advocate for a return to the gold standard? And how does the United States's decision to maintain global military supremacy affect the economic outlook?

Who is included in this "our"? "Our" meaning whom?
As to submariner's questions, I can only point him to what the candidate has said regarding the nature of our foreign policy and it's relation to spending. As far as I know, he isn't strictly for the gold standard, but for competing currencies.
I think Paul's positions are best explained and expounded upon by Paul himself. Click here and go nuts!
By the way cnulan, are you supporting a particular candidate this election season?
